Sevilla vs Barcelona Preview

Pep Guardiola’s side begin a schedule in the Sánchez Pizjuán on Saturday evening that will see them play Sevilla, Valencia, Real Madrid and Villarreal before Christmas.

That sequence of events could well prove whether the Blaugrana have the mettle to make a sustained push for the championship for the first time in three seasons, or if they do have weaknesses.

The less well publicised side of this run is that Sevilla also face the same calendar as they drew with Valencia last weekend, play Barça and then travel to Real Madrid before entertaining Villarreal.
